Our story

Helping members use the power of cooperative data

For 23 years we have been helping Abacus Alliance members use the power of cooperative transactional data to improve their direct marketing effectiveness and return on investment. We launched the Abacus Alliance in 1998, introducing the cooperative transactional database concept into the UK. In 2007 Abacus was acquired by global marketing innovator Epsilon, becoming part of its Marketing Services data arm.

An MS in Marketing Analytics, he has worked for Epsilon in the US & UK. Previously he spent 2 years providing analytic support to Fortune 500 companies in banking, insurance and pharmaceuticals.

Ben is responsible for recruiting and on-boarding new members to the Abacus Alliance, a comprehensive GDPR-compliant repository of B2C retail transactional data. Ben helps multi-channel retailers and pure-play eCommerce businesses realise the value of printed catalogues whilst gaining powerful insight on their customers’ market-wide buying behaviours, as well as their lifestyle and demographic attributes, to drive offline recruitment and retention campaigns to complement an omni-channel strategy.
